Ushiku Arcadia, a religious facility of the Jodoshinshu Buddhist sect, is the main mausoleum of Tokyo Hongwanji. In the center of Jodo Teien Garden there stands an imposing 120m-high statue of Buddha, which won a place in 1995 in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world tallest statue in the world. It's about twice as tall as the stature of Liberty. It's a five story building, and the elevator will take you 85meters above the ground. You can enjoy a view of different parts of Ibaraki Prefecture from the 4th floor on a clear day. Each floor represents a different world with distinctive characteristics. There is a five-acre flower garden at the feet of the Great Buddha, with 12 different types of flowers, you can enjoy the great view when flowers come to full bloom. The 300 squirrels and 100 rabbits at the pet zoo offers great entertainment to both adults and children. Please enjoy feeding them.
