When Ushiku City Hall is Open

Ushiku City Hall is open from 8:30 am to 5:15 pm except Saturdays, Sundays and National holidays. General Information Counter, however, is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30am to 5:15pm. Business hours: 10:00am~5:00 pm (closed on Mondays and National Holidays)

2.Okuno Branch office(In Okuno Lifelong Learning Center)
Business hours: 8:30am~5:15pm (Closed when Okuno Lifelong Learning Center is closed as well as National Holidays)

3.Mikazukibashi Branch office (In Mikazukibashi Lifelong Learning Center)

Special services of tax payments and tax consultations

Tax payments and tax consultations are available at Ushik
City Hall on the first and last Sundays. This service includes
not only tax payments but also utility bill payments, such as
sewage bill payment and city-run apartment rental fees and so
on.Be sure to bring notifications of payments

The 48th Multi-Cultural Cooking / New York Cuisine

The Multi-Cultural Cooking Club is collecting participants for the next cooking class.

Date & Time: March 6 (Sat) 9:30 am-1:00 pm
Venue: Cooking room in Ushiku-shi Chuo Shogai Gakushu Center (Central Lifelong Learning Center)
Instructor: Mr.Avi Landau (American)
Fee: ¥500 (Please pay at the information desk on the day of the cooking class)
Target Group: Ushiku citizens or people who work in Ushiku, 18 years old and older
Limit number: Twenty people
(A lottery will be practiced in case the number of the applicants exceeds the limit.)
★ Those who joined the last cooking class can’t make an application this time.

The 90th Ushiku Flea Market

Date February 14 (Sunday)  10:00am〜3:00pm
Venue: The parking lot of Ushiku Central Lifelong Learning Center
Activities:

@    Starting at noon, first 200 visitors have a chance to buy a pack of strawberries at a discount price.
A    Starting at 2:00 pm, first 200 visitors have a chance to buy a carton of milk and a radish at a discount price.
B    Starting at 10:00am, regenerated furniture is on sale.

International Exchange Room

UshikuCity has an International Exchange Room on the second floor of Ushiku City Hall, where you can find  information about the international exchange. There are some pamphlets written in several foreign languages such as English, Portuguese, Thai, Chinese,Spahish, Tagalong and Korean. On the bulletin board there,  you will get information that makes your life enjoyable. Please come to the International Exchange Room!!

Nihongo Kyoshitsu (Japanese Language Classes)

Very kind volunteers can teach Japanese on a one-to-one basis. Enjoyable events such as cultural exchange parties are also held.
